NOVIDADES DA SEMANAGAMES

Doom: The Dark Ages update brings Ripatorium mode, new skins, and gameplay tweaks in a major free content drop.
id Software has released a major free update for Doom: The Dark Ages, further expanding the game that became the studio’s biggest commercial hit, despite its rocky launch. The highlight of this patch is the Ripatorium, an endless arena mode that gives players complete control over their battles.
In the Ripatorium, players can set up encounters across three distinct arenas — City of Ry’uul, Village of Khalim, and Harbour of Souls. Through the Encounter Manager menu, you can choose enemy types, adjust their numbers, set time limits, enable endless mode, and even tweak respawn rates. To enhance the experience, an integrated jukebox lets you pick the perfect soundtrack for your demon-slaying sessions.
The update also adds a Benchmark Mode for performance testing, plus two exclusive skins for the Doom Slayer:
QuakeCon Skin – unlocked by linking your Bethesda.net account and playing between August 7 and September 1.
Perfection Skin – earned by completing all Ripatorium arenas.
This update also delivers gameplay adjustments, new configuration options, bug fixes, and overall improvements, all detailed in the official patch notes.
Set in a dark medieval era, Doom: The Dark Ages blends heavy armor, demonic weaponry, and ruined castle-inspired environments. The game keeps the franchise’s signature fast-paced and brutal combat but enriches it with a deep dark fantasy atmosphere, making it one of the most intense experiences in the genre.
