Danny Rand is back — and not just back in action, but back from the dead. In The Undead Iron Fist #1, written by Jason Loo with art by Fran Galan, Marvel is set to deliver a mystical and action-packed journey for the legendary hero. The issue hits shelves on September 10, 2025.
Last seen dying in Iron Fist 50th Anniversary Special last year, Danny now returns to investigate the secrets of the Iron Fist mantle and discover how he managed to escape death’s grasp.
The preview opens with Luke Cage visiting his friend’s grave in a New York City cemetery, only to find it dug up and empty. Meanwhile, the Iron Fist roams the streets, defending them from an ancient mystical threat. In another scene, Danny climbs a cliff to face his ultimate challenge: a dragon.
